Taiwan Dzi refers to beads produced in Taiwan. Why does Taiwan Dzi get its own special categorization you may ask? Taiwan produces some of the finest Dzi on the market. In the 1980's, Taiwan produced Dzi that were remarkably similar to ancient Tibetan Dzi. From then on, Taiwan has continued producing the finest specimens of new Dzi available. There are two distinct sub-categories of Taiwan Dzi, Vintage Taiwan 1980's Dzi and New Taiwan Dzi.
