Ancient Two Eye Motif Dzi Bead - Rare White Dzi

This bead measures 24.9 mm x 12.7 mm. It is an unearthed bead, estimated to be between 500 to 1000 years old. The natural stone patina shows through beautifully. In addition to that, this bead has three very distinctive features that make it very collectable. First, it is rare to find dzi in white color as very few dzi is crafted in this manner. Second, this bead is a rare Water Bead, which is a bead excavated from near a water source. Water Beads have very distinctive wear to their surfaces affecting the etchings on them as well. And third, the extreme age of this bead is evidenced with calcification.
